  1. I have 3 years of CNA experience and I thought it would help, but some of my classmates that had no medical experience whatsoever have already found jobs. I think I am one of the last few in my class that has not found a job yet. But I am glad y'all told me how long it took from applying to actually getting a job, it makes me feel a little better! (sorry if my replies are confusing guys I am new to this site and bad about quoting who I am replying to.)
  2. I actually use to work at a long term facility as a cna and loved it however I have held out on applying to them because I would like to work in a hospital. I have followed up on several of my applications. But I could be more on it. How long do you usually wait after submitting an application to follow up? A lot of places are so hard to follow up with, I am only able to talk to someone in HR and they all say basically the same thing, If we are interested we will let you know. Congrats and good luck with your new job!
  3. I graduated from nursing school in May and started looking for nursing jobs in July. I know I should have looked sooner, but didn't because of so much other stuff going on in my life. I have recently been applying to several hospitals and still have not landed an interview yet! I am starting to feel like crap and like I will never get a job! I don't understand why I am not being chosen for interviews. How long did it take you to find your first job?
