LPN Prereqs
Thanks for the replys guys. Ill call around tomorrow and see what the schools say. I might end up getting my CNA anyway though for the experience. Here in atlanta there is a school that does a 4week CNA course so that's not bad.

LPN Prereqs
Hello nurses and prospective nurses! Quick question, for the lpns and former lpns were there any specific prerequisites or requirements for enrolling in an lpn program? Im sure some schools will vary but would I need to take a class ie, anatomy?

Clayton State University Spring 2016
I plan on attending Clayton State during the spring as well. So are we taking the Kaplan Test in place of the TEAS? And when is the last date to even apply for the program?

Bachelors in Biology/MSN Program
Greetings everyone. So I just had a meeting with the new dean of the science department and we were talking about my nursing major. My original plan was to finish out my 2 years at community college getting my pre-nursing and then transfer to Clayton State and get my BSN and ultimately I want to become a Nurse Anesthetist. She told me that instead of getting my pre-nursing degree that I could get my bachelors degree in Biology and then transfer to Georgia Regents College for their accelerated nursing program. Upon completion I will have my MSN and many other career opportunities will be open to me. Also if i just so happen to decide I don't want to be a nurse(extremely unlikely) medical school is always a option. I'm thinking I might just major in Biology now and transfer to Georgia Regents for their accelerated nursing program. What do you guys think?

AAS or BSN?
Hey whats up guys. Just subscribed to the site today and I'm very excited about meeting you all and learning as much as I can. My name is Darius Jackson, I'm 22, army veteran, I attend Atlanta Metropolitan State College (AMSC) and I currently have a 2.9gpa. Im in my second year and I plan on attending Clayton State University for their nursing program in Fall of 2016. The goal is to have at least a 3.4 when I apply. So my question is after I complete the 2 year nursing program at Clayton State will I have a Bachelors or Associates in nursing? The degree that I am getting at AMSC is Associates of Applied Science. Will that count towards my BSN or will I have get a ASN? Thanks for the replies.
