  1. I'm kind of late on this thread, but I also applied for Frontier's PMHNP program for Summer 2020. I got waitlisted. Hoping to get some good news in the next few weeks. Did you get in?
  2. I submitted my application for the standard deadline and got a call for the interview around the last week of August I believe. If you haven't got any feedback yet I would highly recommend calling them. I'm not sure if they have filled all the seats yet, but I would think they would keep one or two open for the ones who applied for the final deadline.
  3. Just got my acceptance letter. Look forward to seeing all the future ABSN students.
  4. For those who have already gone through with the interview, how did the school contact you? Did they call or did they send an email to set up the time for the interview?
  5. Congratulations packqueen33! Your stats are amazing, not surprised at all that they accepted you ^_^ I just sent in my application today, very nervous. Do you know if they considered your experience as an NT? I've been working at UNC Hospital as a CNA for about 9 months now; I'm hoping they don't just look at my grades.
  6. Hi Bryabtda117, so sorry for the late reply. Yes, I have applied for WSSU last year and will probably apply again this year. I am currently completing the Global Health prerequisite at NCAT right now and then will have to retake my chemistry at a community college this Fall. I didn't fail chemistry, but for some reason I was never able to take the lab because it was full. I have spoken to the nursing department at NCAT and I got a similar answer about retaking the TEAS. She said as long as it was over the required score I should be fine.
  7. Oh wow, after creating this thread and didn't see any replies for a few days I forgot to come back and look. I'm really happy to see that you guys are responding. I am also taking Global Health online right now at NC A&T and will be completing it within the next week. I'm still in the process of submitting my application (late, I know) because I'm very worried about the essay portion. I'm not sure what they look for during the interview so I feel that I should make my essay look as good as possible.
  8. I made an 80% my first and only time taking it (I may retake it soon). I had about two months of studying and I purchased the practice online tests along with the study guide. On the side I watched a lot of YouTube videos, such as the Khan academy, and looked for additional free practice tests online. The unfortunate thing about the Teas Test, especially the science portion, is that they throw random questions at you. Some questions are simple and general while others are more specific, making it more difficult if you only graze over that one area. The only thing I can say is to look over it again and find other questions (online or in other books) to challenge yourself.
  9. Hi all, I'm planning to apply for NCAT ABSN program and I wanted to see who else is going to apply. Also would you mind posting your GPA and TEAS Test scores so I can compare? My GPA, unfortunately, is a mere 3.1 and my TEAS Test score was 80%. I'm debating if I should retake it.
  10. I just called and they told me the emails will be sent by the end of tomorrow.
  11. I don't think we will get anything until another week or two. Looking at the thread about WSSU ABSN from last year it looked like they didn't receive until Oct. 17th or 18th.
  12. I didn't get an email confirmation. I hope they didn't send email confirmation because that will mean that my application was not received. Prior to the deadline I tried to called and see if they did get the application, but then I got redirected and got the voicemail instead.
  13. That's really good to know. Thank you elsie0 for the details about the program. I was actually very worried about my GPA because it wasn't all that high. And as far as experiences I think I have a moderate amount.

  15. I also applied, really hoping to get in.
