There is nothing worse than the 2 month wait period between submitting your application into the nursing school and getting an answer as to whether you were accepted or not. Must... Relax....

Relax! Okay, well, I can't really say relax since I didn't relax myself until that final grade showed up after the exam; however, studying so early is going to work in your favor. For the english portion of the test, I can't really help you. I made an 90% on that part, and that was good enough for me since I struggle with english. For the science portion... I made a 100% on the entire science and I can help you out a bit without giving any hints as to what was on the test... - READ THE QUESTION TWICE! There were so many questions that tricked me on the exam, you think it's the most obvious answer but it isn't. - Know terminology like heterozygous, homozygous, diploid, haploid, etc. and the question will fall into place. There's typically 2 trick answers and then two possible answers. If you can get rid of the trick answers you have a 50/50 chance - KNOW WORD ROOTS! Trust me on this, it helps to know what poly-, di-, mono-, stuff like that means. Not just the word roots given in the book. Maybe just go on Quizlet and find some prefix & suffix flashcards that someone has made to help you out. - The official TEAS review book covered most topics for the science portion of the test
