  1. Job outlook for PNP's

    Hello all, I am about to return to school to start working towards my MSN. I was accepted into a really great PNP program and I'll be done in about 2 years. However, I'm starting to hear from other nurses that there is no future for NP's as they are being phased out and not really needed. I'm nervous because while I am still working PT, I don't want to waste 3 years of my life to become a PNP and not be able to use it. Does anyone have any outlook on this situation. Thanks. I'm very nervous.
