  1. Is an STNA a CNA? I think people who've worked as techs for a long time sometimes have a hard time because you have so much real life experience, and the NCLEX is not about real life. What are you using to practice?
  2. It does help, thanks! I meant orientation, not SSIP.
  3. Hey, kmun911, what happens at orientation? I'm going to be out of town that day, so I'm going to miss it. Am I missing anything really important?
  4. Has anyone heard anything about financial aid?
  5. I'm in! Glad the wait is over.
  6. I finally heard back and my interview is on tuesday. I actually have a room opening up in my apartment, if anyone is interested. I live near the Hopkins Homewood campus in Roland Park, but really close to the circulator and UMB shuttle route. It's a 2-bed/2-bath apartment and the rent is $510. Just throwing it out there, if anyone is interested. The room is available January 1.
  7. I feel an ache for an accelerated program in MD. That would obviously be the best option, although less $$ for the school.
  8. I wonder how many apply. From the other thread, do 200 people apply for spring? That seems like a lot, although I guess it's not impossible.
  9. Thanks, that's really helpful! I thought I'd gone through all the old threads, but I didn't remember that. Alright, so I'll keep an eye out, and hope for the best!
  10. I spoke with a lady in the office, and she said there was no time frame, so it all just depends on how fast people are going through applications, etc. Also, there are only like 5 people on this thread that applied, so I wonder how many people have applied for Spring admission. I wonder how many people had interviews last week.
  11. When do you think they tell you if you're not accepted? My thing still says complete ready for review. I wonder if it's because I'm still doing some pre-reqs, including A&P II. So I would assume that people who have completed their pre-reqs get first dibs. I just want to know!
  12. Congratulations! I just got an email that some stuff was missing from my packet, even though SURFS has shown it to be complete ready for review for a while. At least I know they're looking!
  13. I took that to mean that if you are being considered for admission, that you'll be called for an interview. If you don't get an interview, then you're rejected off the bat. Someone else said that everyone above the minimum gpa gets an interview.
  14. Ugh, you guys, I looked at some old threads, and there are people who didn't hear until late November! I think mid-October is when the first round of acceptances go out. How are you guys planning on paying for this, if you don't mind me asking?
  15. Mine hasn't changed. What does Committee ready mean? This is seriously the worst.
