  1. You are not wasting your degree. You are still working as a nurse. Many people do not like LTC and feel that it is a waste. I worked in LTC for approximately 8 years and it actually was some of most rewarding out of the last 20. LTC is a hard job. While it does consist of passing a LOT of mess, it is how you go about the day and if you allow yourself to be an excellent nurse or just get in the rut of "pill pushing". Anytime you have the opportunity to practice as a nurse you can get in a rut or you canBE A NURSE!!! Best wishes to you!
  2. I am a nurse educator and have heard some buzz that updated information is showing that it is recommended to use Ztrack for ALL intramuscular injections. Are any of you out there currently utilizing this in practice or teaching it in the classroom? All text I have found do not mention it, I did, however find a few articles dating back to 2008 saying it has best results. Any info is appreciated!
