  1. Lol. It was an old hospital and one of those old crank beds!
  2. Just remembered another: a dehydrated patient we couldn't get iv access on. Doc said to have him drink a bag of iv fluid!
  3. I was in the middle of a sterile dressing when I was overhead paged. A doctor "needed" me in another room. When I got to the room, the doctor told me the patient needed the head of his bed put up! Same doctor also refused to help with a patient of his who had fallen. He just walked away!
  4. I worked in Oncology. I had a drug addict patient with a precarious PICC line leave the unit and go outside with chemo running. When I called security, they had the nerve to scold me for "letting" him get away with expensive hospital iv pumps! He was found having a smoke with some questionable people.
