Hi, Is it true that all COS application for April will be released on May 11? I was told by my agency in UK that there had been changes in the status of Nursing profession from temporary to permanent shortlisted profession that's why there had been a delay in COS issuance this April. Can someone validate if this is true or not? Thanks

For me, I received my DL less than 2 weeks from the date I completed all the required documents. Yours will come sooner than expected. I think they will not put you again for another queue since you did not lack any documents. It's already on the queue. Just be patient. Thanks

hey. I experienced the same thing with my birth certificate. The initial file you have uploaded will always be shown on your account even if you re-uploaded a new file for a couple of times. I called NMC about this before and they told me, on their side, it's the new file that is showing. I think candidates portal doesn't mirror the NMC's side of the portal. To make sure, just call NMC if the new file you have uploaded is the new one. hope this helps

Aleftie, It's 70 days from the time you have submitted the application online which will cover the time you have completed the requirements. This is just the maximum, I did mine for 1 and 1/2 mos since I completed the application. It depend really on how fast you are in accomplishing the requirements since you will need both licenses and clearances from Phil and Oman, and the school of course.\ UKVI is needed for immigration purposes. You can take that after CBT. It's more expensive than the usual IELTS but you only need I think 4.0 in all subtests. If you read the threads here previously, you can pass the exam. It has lots of suggestions what to read and what to focus.

Aleftie, With regards to CBT I think it's better if you should've taken anywhere else near, like Dubai? But in your case since you already booked in the Philippines just take it in the Philippines. Once you passed the CBT, the assessment will be be maximum of 70 days. Try getting NBI clearance since it's difficult getting it overseas but bear in mind, it's only valid for 3 mos. Don't do medicals yet because it expires. Which agency hired you? With regards to resignation, it's like resign at your own risk. I'm also trying to weigh thing up. Westmack, I have an agency based in UK also, I am communicating to them directly. They just have local partners in the Philippines for poea sake. But i intend to process here in uae. At least I have the access to it rather than go home. Did you process your poea when you went home? How long does it take? I am planning to have it when my notice becomes effective and go back home. I supposed the visa is just good for a month, poea processing will that be long? thAnks

Anyway, which agency did you have in the Philippines and how come they allowed you to process in Saudi. I will be having my UKVI academic this feb. Actually that's all I needed, done with the DL. My cos might be filed a month before the effectivity of my resignation since cos expires for 3 mos - which is just same as my notice period. Well i've checked ukvi website and there's no need to for tb testing since i live here in uae for almost 2 yrs. There was no mention about medicals either so, after i have my ukvi academic. hi, Need your insight on this. I submitted my Declaration of Good Health Sept 1st and was posted as received on my NMC account Sept 23, 2015. Problem is, the document will expire Nov 30, 2015, it hasn't been placed on queue and assessed. Do I need to submit a new declaration of health? Where does NMC base the expiration of the documents, is it from the time they received it as reflected on my NMC account or from the time they start assessing my case? Thanks
