Hello Everyone! I am planning on applying to Rutgers University-Newark for their post BSN DNP/FNP program. I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to this specific program could provide some insight on what exactly they are looking for in a candidate.For example:How many years of experience did you have as a nurse prior to applying? what was your nursing GPA? what kind of papers did you submit for the 2 required papers(how many pages, topics, etc)? If possible, could you also tell me how you like the program so far? Are you able to handle working and going through the program? Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to decide if I should apply now based on my chances of getting into the program. I am currently working on a medical stepdown floor and have been a registered nurse for a year. I graduated with a 3.6 GPA from nursing school. Thank you for your time. I am looking forward to hearing back!
