  1. Don't let it get to you... what is meant to be will be. I know the feeling tho... waiting to only be rejected.
  2. @goofynurse stay positive!!!!
  3. Also, I have zero patient care experience and minimal volunteer hours. But, I do speak two languages and I have a 3.9 GPA, overall and prereq. I sat down with my recommenders and ensured they provided me with the best and unique to me rec letter. My personal statement took me 6 months to write, I literally had 5 people (professors) edit it. I have been declined over and over again from various nursing programs. But, hard word and persistent does payoff!
  4. @mak5678 Hang in there! The status did change to "Admission Decision Available." If you're not admitted you will get an email to check your application. Some people may decline admission because they may have been accepted somewhere else, etc. So don't give up guys!!!!! If you're not admitted, reapply, your chances are greater the second time around.
  5. Here is the FB link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/755488617929416/
  6. I started a Facebook group if anyone is interested, it's under USF Entry Level MSN RN
  7. If anyone is interested, we can exchange email addresses (for those who have been accepted) that way we can "meet" each other. Super excited for all of us and hope for the best for the rest of you guys!
  8. Awesome @FromCA congrats!!!!
  9. @KSfiles what are the hours you're in class and in clinicals? I know it may vary depending on the semester, but generally, what can I expect?
  10. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats @Luv2Fly22
  11. Just got the call.... I am in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):) Good luck to everyone!!!!
  12. That would be amazing!!!!!
  13. Stats range widely. I've read/ heard that some people were admitted with C's but had a lot of healthcare experience. I was also told that your personal statement and references are the most important aspect of your app.
  14. Same here lol we will know soon!!! Hang in there guys!!!
  15. Waiting game continues!!!!!
  16. Looks like we won't be hearing back until early- mid December Admissions told me 6- 8 weeks after the deadline. Denials usually hear first and early on.
  17. That's what I've heard... they call and then send you an acceptance letter via snail mail. If you're wait listed, you get a letter no call.
  18. I heard the same thing. Spanish speakers have a huge plus, and they do call you to test your spanish fluency. So nervous, every morning I wake up scared to check my email
  19. I've heard the same, Fall tends to get more applicants, 400+.
  20. This is very true, and I have heard this repeatedly as well that they look at the applicant as a whole!
  21. I live in the East Bay, Milpitas! Yea I wouldn't think having a class in progress would be a deal breaker.
  22. Hi Caitlinkay, this is my first time hearing that if your prereq's are not done you have less of a chance. But, things do change every application cycle so who knows. They look at so much it's really hard to say that exactly it is that will get you in. Also, all the people I've talked to that have been in the program say how diverse their cohort is- which is a good thing! Now I am nervous, people are starting to hear back...
  23. Hi Caitlinkay! We should definitely know by mid December, but some people may find out closer to the end of November. We shall see. This is my first time applying, first and last I hope :)
  24. I like the sense of community here let's keep each other informed! And yes, I hope you find out November!
