George Washington University FNP MSN Spring 2016
I think a Facebook page would be a great idea. Certifiedprofile.com is the website the school uses to track everyone's immunizations, licenses, BLS, physicals, and drug tests. This is required and costs $127.75 and must be completed before the start of class NOT the start of clinicals as I had been informed last week. There is a purchase code you'll need I think it was GC09, but don't quote me on that, it is on the admitted students page on the SON website.

George Washington University FNP MSN Spring 2016
Hey everyone! I've been admitted for the Spring 2016 part-time MSN/FNP program! I had been informed by email on 10-21-15 of my acceptance. Is everyone doing the part-time option for Spring? I look forward to meeting everyone. I've satisfied nearly all of my certifiedprofile.com requirements, if anyone needs help or has questions don't hesitate to ask. Good luck! - Joe

Frontier Nursing University - Male Student Nurse Perspective
Hello all! I am new to this site. I am seriously considering Frontier Nursing University's MSN/FNP program. My background is Fire/Rescue with 14 years experience as a Paramedic, and 3 years experience as an ER Nurse. My cumulative GPA is around 3.7 and I have all the necessary pre-reqs of statistics and health assessment. I read somewhere that the male student population is around 5% at FNU, but I'm wondering if that's because of their Midwifery background. I'm curious to know what the male nurse experience is at FNU, or the perspectives from any female students on their male counterparts. However fair or unfair it may seem, does anyone feel there might be an advantage to being a male nurse in regards to the admissions process at FNU? It didn't really occur to me that being a male might help until I read posts on here that indicated it could be. Any comments on the admissions process at FNU would be helpful though.
