As I mentioned to earlier poster, I have hidden nothing. I assumed that when my FBI/ criminal background check cleared, the BON had no more issues with my application. I was wrong, they didn't look at my application until AFTER I took the NCLEX.

I have come here for HELP not to be judged. I had a real case and was already punished as my state saw fit, years ago. I didn't kill anyone, nor made anybody even ill. To not issue a license after I have done all that was asked of me is punishing me again. But, it's easy for you to side with nrseduk, you both have your RN's licenses already.

No, I have no issue with drug diversion. If it's deceitful to not have to be punished twice for the same mistake, then call me deceitful Nursduck, some might even call that Double Jeopardy. I have jumped thru all of the hoops commanded of me and I'm still getting judged. People who have made mistakes shouldn't be shackled to the mistakes forever. What states don't ask me about a previous license?

I must be missing something...how can my best source of info be from a state I'm not interested in working in? How do I use my NCLEX results in another state if I can't use reciprocity ?

My probation as a LVN should be ending in a 3 months. I did what my old Board asked of me. Again I ask; would I need to take the NCLEX in another State, can I use my results for another State, or am I stuck with whatever this State's RN Board says?

No, I was up-front w the Nursing Board.

I was so overjoyed to had passed my NCLEX, but now a state is denying me a license because I was on probation as a LVN in another state. Do I have to forget about nursing, or take the exam again in a less-stringent state? The only choices I ever see on any state board website are; Recipicality and Licensure by Examination
