Mt. San Jacinto (MSJC), California LVN-RN bridge program 2021 Spring
I got a 70% on my TEAS. I had no where else to take my test sadly. My only choice was at home with the whole family here. Fingers crossed!

Mt. San Jacinto (MSJC), California LVN-RN bridge program 2021 Spring
I have mine scheduled for 8/28/2020. I needed to take it a week further later but they won't let you. I got accepted to take the HESI at SBVC for fall 2020. However, they did not tell us it was proctored until the evening before the test, setting it up and contacting the proctor help tesk took all night. I did not go to sleep until 2am and woke up at 5am. I sadly scored a 74%. Plus, they had Chemistry on the exam when it was suppose to be excluded but the new admissions director did not know this so we still had to take it. Some people got to take the test 2 weeks later because they had computer problems. I was a few points shy of getting in. They also took less students then they usually do. I don't know how California expects to account for all the nurses retiring and leaving the field if we can not even get into a program. I am not willing to pay over 100 thousand to get my RN license. I really hope I do good on this TEAS exam, I already get test anxiety. My home is not a good testing environment. Good Luck!

I need to find something to keep me busy so I'm not checking every 30 min.

It states if you received a score to disregard. I think some students had computer programs and were not able to complete the exam so they did not receive a score. Maybe their internet went out or could not take it at all. I did the ProctorU compatability test and had to upload something. Maybe they did not do that part. Hopefully we find out something by next Monday or Tuesday Any one hear any thing yet? Its been 18 long long days!

I did not receive an email either. But, others on here stated they did. I completed all the exams even the Chemistry and received a grade. Not a great on but I passed. Hope by Monday we hear something. I emailed the school and left a voice mail with no reply.

Has any one heard any thing yet? Every one should have gotten a chance to repeat their test yesterday or today per someones email they had received. The anticipation of waiting is HELL. But also getting a denial letter would be as well.

Mt. San Jacinto (MSJC), California LVN-RN bridge program 2021 Spring
Hello future RN students, I could not find a thread for the Spring 2021 bridge program. This is my first time applying for this college for the RN program. I applied for SBVC for Spring 2020 but was denied. My ADA at my employment did not sign my employment verification letter, add a header or sign it. I submitted in the envelope she gave me it in. Other wise they stated I had every thing I needed to apply for their program. I actually applied the Fall 2020 program with them. I took my HESI but did not do as well as I wanted. Taking it at home with a Proctor was more stressful and we were not told to sign up for the proctor until the evening prior. I slept mayne 4 hours that might before having to take the test at 8:30 am. It has been over two weeks and we still do not know who has gotten in. Some students were not able to take the test so they had them take it yesterday and today. Hopefully we know by next week. There has been no communication from Valley staff. Every thing I know is from here. So that is why I am making this tread for MSJC. I just get the email today that I am eligible to apply for the Spring 2021 bridge program. The application period is 9/01/2020-9/15/2020. I still need to schedule and take the TEAS exam to submit with my application. Has any one else applied for this term? Have you taken your TEAS yet? -Teri

I have not heard anything either. I check my email probably 30 times a day since we will probably have to rsvp within a certain amount of time. Hopefully we will know soon.

SBVC fall 2020
@akalei I wish I would have gotten a pop up. I had to pee so bad after about 2 hours and I didn't think we could walk away from the computer. That's another reason I had to rush at the end. Fingers crossed tho!

@akalei I didn't see the part where it said you can use your own calculator. I used the one on the exam. There's no way to take the math with out pencil and paper so I just showed my paper too that it was blank. I did talk out loud because I have to hear my self say the question sometimes to think of the answer but I kind of mumbled it. I didn't get a great score so proves I didn't cheat other wise I would have got all 90 somethings. I got a 74 which killed it for me. I think I didn't have enough sleep and then all the stress of all the last minute registration and reading to make sure I followed every step. Wish we could have just went and taken the test. I would have been more relaxed and would have done better. Plus there was no clock so I rushed through grammer and got a 60. That was a hard hit. I was afraid of running out of time and getting a zero on it. Still no reply from the school from he email I sent.

SBVC fall 2020
So I didn't check my email to see the instructions for the ProctorU until 9pm right before I was about to go to sleep to get a good night's rest. It said we were suppose to register for it 72 hours in advance. It was so stressful doing last minute. ? l registered and emailed my confirmation but never got a response. Figured since they did not email us until after 4 pm that we were not going to get a response. I didn't get any sleep last night. Maybe 4 hours. My test was recorded but I never heard any one. The exam took over my computer and I used the calculator on the exam because your not suppose to use your own. Their calculator worked great. I turned my computer to show I was alone in my room and had no notes or any thing to cheat with. But I was never instructed to.. I watched a video on Youtube that said you should do it to prove you didn't cheat just incase. I took the Chemistry test and got a 68% figured it was better then not attempting to take it and getting a zero. I have not done Chemistry in years.. I think the 68% did bring my grade down a little. My friend took her test for Spring 2020 and they did not have Chemistry, micro or critical thinking. IDK if I did good enough to get in but I tried my best under these circumstances. I get a lot of test anxiety. This set up did not help. I thought I'd be more relaxed at home but thinking someone was watching me or staring at me made me more nervous LOL. I just kept my head facing the screen. It took almost the whole 4 hours. I didn't have a clock in my room so it made it worse not know what time it was. I emailed the school to ask about the Chemistry and when we should expect their decision. If I hear any thing back I will post it.

SBVC fall 2020
Looks like a few other people didn't get any type of notification as well. I got my recipt for my RSVP. They get 250 + applications and from what I heard they only invited 75 applicants to take the exam. Out of those they are only inviting 55 to the orientation to start the fall semester.

SBVC fall 2020
The email for the HESI invitation came from [email protected] on May 23 and had to be RSVP by May 28th at 12pm. When I got me letter stating I was not accepted for the Spring 2020 it came to my regular email address and was in the spam folder that was Oct 2019. I had to call them to get the information. You may have to email their office to check with them if you did not get the invite. It states the HESI is going to be virtual. I've never taken a virtual HESI exam. Has any one else? Good luck every one.
