  1. I applied in mid march so I guess I should be patient LOL. Waiting on reference letters held up my process. So now its just a waiting game.
  2. You never know everything is virtual now so there is really no excuse. They should do it sooner than later so you can prepare for the up coming semester. How long ago did you apply?
  3. Oh WOW! congratulations!! Now you don't have to attend the virtual session! Best of luck.
  4. Exactly , what do you think they will expect the day of this onsite admission? I just want to know what I should be planning for September 2020. Same here I have a semester of pre-reqs left. I also have my Associates degree so I'm not sure how this will go for me.
  5. That is so funny same here I am like why are they sending me all this with no acceptance LOL. I think its probably a blast email from the info we supplied when we submitted the application and right after I applied a week or two later they started waiving the application fee.? times like this I could use my $50 LOL. Yes I am going to attend the session as well. they also mentioned they are doing onsite admissions. Did you complete all your pre-reqs?
  6. Hi I see you applied for fall 2020 have you heard anything back yet?? I applied as well then the Covid-19 lock down happened so I’m sure Admission applications aren’t at the top of the list especially not knowing if they can even safely open school systems up yet... But I wish you best keep us posted I would love to know how it turns out for you..
  7. You can't really use them once they are opened anyway.. They would really be useless to you ..
  8. Me too as well I wasn't given a limit I already did 4 sessions... Did you take the exam yet? When are you scheduled ?
  9. Yes I'm going to do another English review class this week being that St. Paul's just called me this morning to set up my English retake so I hope all goes well I've been trying to get into a nursing program for 2 years now!! I just pray this works out!! I want it so bad lol
  10. Oh.. Did you take the review classes? Well I would use that year to review and brush and study of this is something you want it's gonna be hard work.. I took the Hesi and I passed the math but because I spent so much time on the math i had to rush through the English and missed it by 2 points as well I hope I can retake the English.. I will pray for the both of us í ½í¸
  11. That sounds weird .. Did you take and pass the Hesi exam? Did they give you a reason?
  12. Hi guys!! Do anyone know how much time is given at St. Paul's school of nursing when you have to retake one part of the Hesi exam???
  13. Hi reading your post and I just took the hesi exam today passed the math but didn't pass the English because used most of my time on math (weakest subject) but I passed it and still can't believe it lol... I was wondering how soon do St. Paul's allow you to retake the English part and how much time you get to retake the English ? Also not passing one part affect your chances of getting in?? I'm sorry with all the questions.. I have been trying to get in nursing programs for 2 years now and I feel like I'm finally making some headway by passing this math.
  14. That's so funny I currently work at a LTC but in admin department.. So you took your test and you passed!!??? Congrats so there is a little hope lol yeah it's all about who you know in the medical field.. So I'm keeping close contact with all nurse managers and doctors!! Please let me know what school you applied to as well.. Thanks again
  15. Yea I am I'm trying not to let all the negative reactions make my decision but it's hard it has to be some truth if not a little to what people are saying... Are you s nurse? Do you work in a hospital? Did your co workers have trouble finding a job or advancing in their education because the school was not acen accriedted ?
  16. Well that's a lot to digest it's so sad that all the post are all negative regarding this school It's sad.. Mean while all the other schools make it close to impossible to get into here in NYC!!!í ½í¸« thanks for your insight tho..
  17. No moving is not an option financially and for other family obligations I can't relocate..
  18. No I haven't taken it yet I went last week to the info session on Thursday and I took the crazy wonderlic test and passed it so I feel like if this work out with this school I'm gonna try!!! Are you concerned about the school not being accriedted?
  19. Well I haven't applied yet but I am considering it!! And was wondering what major harm it is going to the school ? they have been around for years and have not been shut down yet and they are on the list at NYS Office of the Professions - State Education Department as an official nursing school.. If I can pass the Hesi and exceed all the other obstacles I'm gonna give it a try.. I have been trying to get in a program for over 2 years. So why notí ½í¸”
  20. Hey new member but very familiar to this site!! Any one applying to SPSON for the Jan 2016 class?? What did you think of the SLE exam? What should I expect from the Hesi exam? Being that this school is not Acen accredited would that make a degree from the school useless? And can you transfer to an accredited BA program once you complete St. Paul's and pass the nclex?? Interested in the program and worried at the same time!!!
