So glad for you. It must have been a very long weekend! I bet they ran out of time on Friday to get the letters out. Congratulations :)

Waiting is definitely tough! I hope you're right that it is only two more days. From the threads here it looks like last year's applicants (for Spring 2015 start) did not get notified until Sept 19-20th But they were talking about getting snail mail packets, not email. I actually quit my IT job last December to go back to school. Don't think I can manage working at the same time. My situation is probably different than most because I'm older (or perhaps just old.) Using retirement savings for the expense, which is a risk but what the heck. CPCC is the most affordable option I've seen in this area. I've considered trying to get a CNA job for this fall, but may need to travel some to care for my elderly mom so haven't seriously applied anywhere yet. As for the BSN, I doubt I'll do that. I'll be thrilled to achieve RN with an AS! However, you never know. Back to nail-biting....

No, I checked in with her after I submitted my application, and she said 2 to 3 weeks.

Thanks for the optimism, mluckyb85. I did complete A&P I, the general Psychology, MAT 171, and English. Taking A&P II, developmental Psychology and music elective this fall. Completed the CPR along with CNA class, so hopefully will be in good shape if I'm accepted for Spring term. Good luck to you! Hope to meet you at orientation :)

mluckyb85 - have you heard anything yet? Waiting is driving me crazy and making me feel pessimistic

Yes I used the study guide from ATI. I also took the two online ati tests which were good but do NOT shut you out of each section when time is up. Also used the rand McNally study guide and looked up science topics on the internet. Best of luck to you and thanks for your kind words to me.

Good luck on your TEAS test! My advice is to try to be well-rested and watch the timers in each section. I took it twice because the first time I didn't watch the time for the math section so missed too many. I didn't realize each section is timed separately. I submitted my app on Tuesday and am trying to just put it out of my mind now (not working.) My score was 85.7 overall, with math at 76 and reading 95. I found the science part most challenging and studied a lot for that!
