I have been a nurse for 21 years, and my goal has always been to be an Administrator in long term care, well in the middle of my career path I started working in acute care and have grown to love it as much as I do long term care. I am currently working on my MSN with emphasis in health care administration. I was recently offered a job as AIT, which is administrator in training at a nursing home, the company would pay for my Administration training. I want to be in a place for advancement and growth. My question is which is better long term care or acute care? Which one has better changes for advancement?
