Hello, I just finished my first week at Chamberlain Miramar campus aswell. Don't feel so bad, I also did terrible on my first quiz for Critical Logic and Thinking. I love the class but I am not acclimated with the online course and somehow managed to skip the entire lecture portion and failed my first quiz (yikes)!! I got a "B" on my first discussion because I misread the syllabus and only did 2 comments instead of 3 on each post. I am well prepared this week. Its all about trial and error!

Hello, Congrats on your acceptance! I will be working full-time for the first semester. If it becomes unmanageable then I will be obligated to quit and look for a part time. I also have a son that is in the 3rd grade. If you do not have any little ones, I can only assume it would be more doable. Of course it depends on the person because we all have different tolerance of what we consider manageable.

I have an almost 9 year old little boy. In regards to the uniform, I personally think the Colbalt, Royal and Galaxy blue all look the same. To play it safe I personally ordered online the galaxy blue because in orientation a student said the blue is Galaxy blue so Reginal said Colbalt or Galaxy. I saw a lot of royal blue when I went to the uniform store and figured its all the same. The pants were just too long and big that I ordered online. I didn't see not one tag in the store that stated Colbalt or Galaxy blue.

I tried going on-line today but it's not allowing me to for some odd reason. I assume I just go to add or drop classes? I dont know if its because my transcript was received last Thursday.

If I remember correctly they all come with the logo. I don't know if it just me but I am freaking out a tad bit because I don't have my schedule set in stone yet. I feel unprepared not knowing what is needed for the first day of class!

Hello, I just ordered whatever options were available on the website. There was very limited options available for the tops in a small. I ordered 1 pair of pants from them and then found a website that has more "modern" fitting scrub pants. I don't know if you have worn scrubs before but I haven't and found for someone 5'3 you will need petite.

Hello, I start the nursing program Aug 31st and was considering quiting my full-time job due to the intensity of the nursing program. My biggest fear is not bringing in income for 24 months and being a single mother!! I have some savings to get by for about 8 months. My first semester is Economics, Philosophy and intro to nursing. Is working doable for fist couple of semesters?? I would greatly appreciate some feedback. :-)

You should be fine. If it makes you feel any better, I received a 79% on my Hesi and I have 3.2 GPA.

Hello, I took the Hesi test last Thursday and I received my acceptance call on Monday! I am sure you will be fine. :-)
