Hi, I recently passed my NCLEX and am thinking about moving to Springfield, MO. My husband got a job offer there and we have some family there. I currently live in the Pacific NW and although the pay here is amazing, the competition is fierce! There are many nursing schools in my area and hundreds of nursing students graduate every few months. So trying to find a job for a new grad is almost impossible. I was wondering if someone can share with me what the pay rate for new grads in Springfield is, as well as the shift differentials and benefits. And are the hospitals there hiring new grads with just their Associates degree. Also, I know that everyone has their own personal opinion but which hospital is better: Cox or Mercy? Thank you so much!!!
