Please tell me if this is none of my business, but why are you not enrolling for the spring?

I posted this to the FB page linked above: Ok so the letters were to go out yesterday. Trying not to think about it: both boys haircut this morning, check. Got back home, maybe I should look into the mailbox...Oh boy there's the letter. I put it in my back pocket because I'm scared now. I go back into the house to heat up some left over pizza with the family for lunch. My wife askes me, "What's that in your pocket?" I smile as politely as I can, holding back the tears. I can't open it. My dear wife of 16 years gets up from the table. Clearly, she's not as petrified as I am. Ok, ok, I get it. So with trembling hands I open the letter praying, hoping, pleading. Jer. 29-11 flashes through my mind, it has always helped in the past. This time is no different. The verse calms me and the letter is out by this time, I open my eyes...I GOT IN to CCC ADN day program Spring 2016.

I had thought that they would transfer the TEAS V test scores for a "nominal" fee.

I haven't applied yet because I have my last A&P class finishing up in about 2 weeks. Summer semester with A&P 2 is fast and furious! After that I can apply and the point total above will be used. I've been told anything above 200 is in the mix. Last application process they took 164,176,200,203,225x3 applicants, and 259. Every point does count.

I've already gone to an info session, it's pretty boring stuff but you get the points for it.

I'm curious why you are taking it at Drake? They will charge you 27 dollars to transfer it to CCC. My application score is 229.9. I hope it is enough. Last scores that got in were as low as 164. High end is 259. I'm right in the middle.

Good to know there is a page available for the future nursing students of ccc in spring 2016. Took the teas yesterday. Scored above their metrics for the mean. Looks like the application process ends on August 31st. Won't know anything until mid October. Long wait. I'll keep in touch.
