  1. Difficulty moving on to a new job

    NewSSURN posted a topic in General Nursing
    I have been working at a LTC/ rehab facility for about 15 months and I would like to move on to a new job. Potentially in a hospital. I just graduated in May of 2014 with my BSN, and my current job at the LTC facility is my first RN job. I have learned a lot at my job but I need to move on and see other areas that I might be interested in. I have been applying to numerous jobs but no success. I have family and friends who have tried helping me with applying at their facilities, but no success. Is there something wrong with how I'm applying? Is there something wrong with my resume? Does anyone have any suggestions? I love my coworkers at my job but I need to leave so I can continue to learn and do more. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
