Hey Sorry I just got this. Im not on this much, Im more on the FB group if you want to join that...Anyways Im pretty bad with directions, I live between Western center/35 and North Tarrant/35...if you know where that is...Its about 2-3 exits down from heritage trace...I take 35 North to highway 287 towards decatur. Haslet is about 15 min from my house off 287. From where I live now I can get to Weatherford in 40-45 min. From Haslet it will be a little longer...like an Hour. But my girls go to daycare out there and my oldest starts kindergarten in august. I want her in the NWISD district because the daycare can pick her up and drop her off from school and it will be easier to pick her up from school with her sister. Plus my fiance will be taking 3 kids to school on the days we have clinicals so it will be easier to go 2 places instead of 3...Were not sure were moving just yet, but even though its a longer drive its easier for our family. Plus we LOVE the area....hope that helped a bit :)

I got my acceptance letter as well! I can't stop crying lol! I was accepted with 14pts!

lol I started checking mine everyday since I applied!!! Im also waiting on the BON as well though. I got my "blue card" in the mail saying my file is clear...however since I self disclosed the info they still have to investigate So hopefully I find out soon!! Im hoping we get our acceptance letters today!!! Im stalking my mailman...ive already checked TWICE!!!

Girl I even asked my mailman. told him when it was sent and from where asked how long it usually takes lmao!

Yea Ive been checking my email too!!! I am so mad at my mailman right now lol I checked it 3 times today!!! I have heard that if you get just a plain letter then u didnt get in but if you get a big packet thats a good sign! Hopefulyl Ill get something tomorrow!

Hey Amberly27! Im not sure if you will see this or not. I applied to a lvn program (still waiting on acceptance) however I had 2 charges on my record. An assult from when I was 16 (2006) that was sealed and then a drug para charge from 2009. So since I had these I went ahead and sumbitted a DO. they recieved my fingerprints on 10/9 and I just got a bluecard saying my file was clear today. I called the BON and she told me that my file is still in "review" I am so confused since I recieved the blue card...she said since I disclosed the info even though my file is clear they still have to do an investigation. Do you think the BON will clear me or will it/ can it still go to the enforcement dept. I feel like I should be good since I got my blue card, but again am still nervous. any help would be great! TIA

Talked to Karen today. She said they mailed out acceptance letters yesterday!!! She couldnt tell me over the phone...but start looking out for the mail!!!

We are pretty much in the same boat. I thankfully get help from the Government paying for daycare but were still trying to keep our heads above water

My girls go to school out in haslet (daycare) my oldest will be starting Kindergarten next yr and it would be so much easier if we lived out there. the daycare has a before and after school program where they take the kids to school...IDK what Im gonna do if we dont move

So most likely we will have to be there around 8 every day...besides our clinical. I was hoping that by august we might be starting around 8:30ish....My daughter will be starting Kindergarten so Im trying to get a game plan on how to get her to school since I live about 45-60min away. 0_o

Obtain a TB screen test or chest x-ray (must be current within one year). Obtain a urine drug screen. Have a back/spine examination by a licensed physical therapist. Submit proof of up-to-date immunizations including Tdap (within the last ten years), MMR, varicella, and influenza. Submit proof of major medical health insurance. Provide proof of current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR. Provide proof of Hepatitis B vaccines (three dose series) or positive Hepatitis B titer. Once your accepted theyll give you a checklist. it should be on the website as well. Its just stuff like TB test, physical, CPR cert, background check, make sure you have your MMR blah blah...
