  1. I just want to add that I was getting in the 50s for Kaplan Q trainers. I got a 57% on Q7 and freaked out. But I passed in 75 questions. I know people who did better on Kaplan but went beyond 75 questions to prove minimum competency. It is a total crapshoot. Also, I didn't finish the Kaplan Qbank because I was getting frustrated with questions that I thought were completely wrong (like giving Morphine before Oxygen) for a MI. I started doing Uworld questions and loved the questions and rationales. Like a lot of people, I felt they were more similar to the actual NCLEX exam. Good luck everyone! You finished nursing school and you can also pass this beast of an exam!
  2. I just went through this torture last week. I passed in 75 questions but walked out thinking I failed. What minimized my anxiety the next day was thinking about the last few questions I had (the ones I could remember because most were a blur). I freaked out because I thought my last question should have been an easy delegation question but then I realized it required a lot of analysis and application. And a question in the high 60s was "who do you see first" with a bunch of conditions I had never heard of! Regardless of question type or format, analysis and application are generally considered above the pass line. If it was going to shut off at 75 and because I failed it was going to be on a recall or knowledge question because that is how bad you have to be doing to fail in 75. Also, remember that you are generally getting 50% wrong no matter how good or bad you are doing. That is Computer Adapted Testing NCLEX and no wonder we all walk out and want to throw up! Hope this helps.
