We just show up to the class room that was assigned to us through our class schedule like any regular class, right? Also I haven't received my order from dove apparel.

I only purchased the five books that were in the list that was sent to us through email. I think the extra books listed in the bookstore might just be extra textbooks.

I read somewhere that its both electronic and physical copies, I'm not 100% sure. I still have not ordered mine, I am waiting for my next paycheck. Also an FYI if you guys haven't bought/ rented your text books, I wanted to let you guys know that I bought the comprehensive nursing care textbook on Barnes and Noble for $7, someone was selling it and its in practically new condition. I actually bought all of the textbooks through either chegg, amazon, or Barnes noble used and a few new and I managed to only spend about $160.

Yes, that pricing really stressed me out especially because we have to pay for it in such a short period of time.

I already have a stethoscope and automatic vital sign monitors for practice and things of that nature of which I use for work as a CNA

The only thing that i have bought as far as school supl is the basics like pens, highlighters, note books and etc.

I was thinking of buying that one as well as the dosage calculations book because I feel that we will need that forever.. The LVN kit comes with needles, PPE, catheters, and things of that sort. It was delivered to my house today...

I haven't received anything about the ATI books, i did look up our course textbooks through the bookstore. Are you guys buying or renting?

Also for the CPR card, how do you know which course from the american heart association is the right one? I only have my BLS CPR card and I am having trouble getting information on that.

I spent $30 for the set of scrubs butI just found out about this store that is called comfort wear outlet and I hear that they sell scrub sets for $15 or $16 so I might have to check it out. I ended up ordering my white scrubs but I only ordered one for now and maybe then I can try to find a cheaper lookalike set. Also I received my clearance to register for the classes. I am now enrolled in the 4 courses that we are supposed to be taking. They are scheduled to take place on Monday+ Wednesday. The only thing I don't know of is the days for clinicals. I called and left a voicemail hopefully I get a call back tomorrow. Ill keep you guys updated on any information that I can get.

I did, I bought my school scrubs (burgundy) at a place called uniform kingdom. I bought my shoes on amazon because I was struggling to find my size since I have a small shoe size. Only thing I have not bought is my clinical scrubs ( white). Have you ordered them?

Also I think we wont get registration clearance until we get cleared for everything else..

I wish they had this information for us now especially because of work but I know that they cant place us into clinical until we have cleared our background check and our health clearance. :/ Has anyone found out any more information about the clinical scrubs? Do they have to be the ones from dove apparel? I have gathered most of my things that I have been able to. I ordered the LVN kit, the background check, the NSO insurance, the medical document manager, I got my school scrubs, nursing shoes, I have an appointment on tuesday at the pcc health center for the health clearance, I wanted to try to get everything cleared as soon as I am able to. I just haven't ordered the clinical scrubs, they're so pricey. I just want to let you guys know that for the health clearance as far as the 2-step TB test if you have gotten one in the last year and it was negative then you only need one more and all you need is the proof. Also I looked into the books we might need through the book store and it seems like so many... but I'm waiting to receive the book list before I order anything.

I don't know exactly how clinicals works but I looked at the schedule of classss for fall and the LVN program classes are scheduled to be Mondays and Wednesday's for the most part. This is just based off of what it says through lancer point which is our portal. I don't know if things could be different.
