  1. So I applied to LIU three days ago and I haven't got any instructions on what do next. They said they would send them within 48 hours of the application being sent. Do they always take this long or should I contact them? Are they really unorganized replying to emails and getting back to people?
  2. Thanks for your vote of confidence. I'm just scared cause CA programs are super hard to get into and its soo competitive. You don't think i'm too late in applying for the spring semester am I?
  3. yeah you're right but its weird they don't require it for admission. I did already take the teas but i'm retaking it i got a 67%
  4. I don't why they changed it. They just told me they require the TEAS now but it needs to be done within the first year. I didn't ask if they would accept the Hesi I already took but I don't understand why the wouldn't its the same anywhere. I just took it for carrington but it was on the HESI website. I just hope I get in. My friend applied too and it would suck if she gets in and I don't. I mean I would be happy for her but it would still suck!!

  6. I took the HESI in the beginning of May because I was going to go to Carrington College which is a private school for LVN and I got a 100% on reading, 92% math, 88% grammar and 90% on something else I cant remember. will they accept that? Also I called today and they said that they now want the students to take the teas as well. not for admission but in general within the first year of starting the nursing program.
  7. Yeah I just applied today. I called the counselor today and she said they are still accepting applications so hopefully they still have spots.
  8. Anyone know or apply to LIU Brooklyn for the their nursing program? If so, how easy it to get into. I've looked at past threads on the university but they are a couple of years old so I was wondering if anybody has any recent experience. I have a 3.1 gpa and they require a minimum of 2.75 in science and pre-requisite courses. I heard they accept 100 people and it is easy to get into but hard to stay in. At this point I don't care an just want to start in a nursing school. I am kind of running out of options so any help is appreciated! Also I am trying to transfer from California.
