I have "Camp I Can" Orientation for my NS tomorrow. So Excited! I start on Sept 2 and while I am so excited, my nerves are getting the best of me, more because I don't know what to expect. I hope to learn more tomorrow. t-8 days left!

I also bought my books. I don't want to rent because i am a highlighting queen and i bought new for that reason too. I want my books for studying for NCLEX. besides we got a bundle of books and i want to be completly ready for that first day of school. i usually procrastinate but really am trying not too right now

I have taken a week off in August to spend with my kids going to the beach and having fun. I try to do so much with them on the weekends now so that they don't feel so left out. We went to the Philly Zoo so far, cant wait to take them to Dorney Park. Which school are you going to if you don't mind me asking.

We had a bundle like that as well. I received my Foundation of nursing book with my pharmacology book and a med/surg book as well as a nursing diagnosis handbook. I would have had no idea I need all of those. I though I was just picking up my foundation of nursing book until the guy at the school bookstore handed me a box heavier then my 3 year old and asked if i needed help getting it to my car. LOL!!!

I go to Rvcc in NJ! Wow! Orientation already! I can't wait for mine! I would love to be in Arizona!

Good Luck on getting in. I am in the same boat. I think we all are. My classes start Sept 2 and i have orientation on Aug 26 and boy it can not come soon enough. I know i will regret saying that about 2 or 3 weeks in but for now i am so excited and nervous too. But we can do this!!

I hear that Littman is good. That is what I got. Should get it today actually. I don't even know if I need one yet, I just got it because I really don't want to use anybody else's or the schools for that matter. Other then that I am not sure.

I looked at that clipboard on Amazon and have heard a lot of good things about it! I got the storage one from target only because I hate when my papers are bent!

I thank I might wear mine to my job everyday just so I think I look cool! 😜

Wow!! 124 pages! That's a lot of syllabus! Do you attend a community college for ADN or university for BSN?

It's Erin Condrin I think. I love those planners but I can't spend 50 dollars on a planner. I think I'll go as another poster had mentioned and use a white board and my planner I bought at target which has plenty of space. Good luck on your nursing journey!

Hi, I am doing an ADN starting in Sept. My orientation is in August! I am so excited. I have also gotten a Littman and awaiting it arrival. I got it from allhearts.com because I wanted my name ingraved on it! I don't want it to "walk away". I am getting the simple things like a pen box, clipboard for clinicals and a 3" binder, I got a scrub pocket organizer and some pen lights! I am just going to enjoy the rest of the summer and get my books in July so I can skim through and read. I am excited to share stories with all of you!
