Prior Enlisted- New BSN- Hopeful Navy NC
Hello, This seems to be the best forum for answers. Hope y'all can help. I did 6 years AD with the Navy and got out in 2011 with an Honorable discharge. I've completed my Bachelors in Nursing this spring and am actively looking to rejoin as an officer in direct commission. I spoke with a recruiter who told me 3 months is the minimum of experience needed to even submit a package. I'm looking for any sort of feedback from anyone whose went through the process. Is this minimum true? I trust, but I also verify. Would my rank upon commission be O1E/ENS? Or would my prior service help with a bump? I'm hoping to commission in the next year, thank you for any help! Devo

Good evening all, I am also applying for the Fall 2017. I'm currently finishing nursing school and plan on pursuing the MSN/MTS dual Masters program with a dual specialty of FNP/CNM. I have everything prepared to apply by the November deadline except for my GRE which hopefully official transcripts will make it only a couple days after the deadline. I emailed the director of admissions a couple days ago and she seemed incredibly helpful with the questions I addressed. I'm very excited and hopeful at the chance of being accepted and look forward to seeing how the season progresses for each of us. Devon
