  1. Thank you! Yes my husband is so supportive! He says anything I choose to do he will stand beside me!
  2. Hi, so I've contemplated nursing school for a while. I'm currently a hair dresser at a great salon. I love the people I work with and I enjoy doing hair most of the time, but I'm looking for a change. My husband and I just had our first baby 2 months ago. I love being a mother! I'm still on maternity leave and I feel like where I've been home spending time with her it makes me realize I want more for her. I went to talk to an adviser at a university in my area yesterday. I'm going to have to do possibly a year of pre requisites. Then she told me to maybe try the nursing program in the evenings for my associates, then RN to BSN. My goal is to work with women's health and maternity. I absolutely loved all the nurses when I had my daughter and it's always been an area that interests me, but I know it's the hardest place to find a job. So im just rambling but Im only gonna be working 3 days a week at the salon. For those 3 days, I don't do too bad. I will probably leave work while in school. Am I stupid for leaving a flexible job to go to school? I think I'm just too comfortable there. There's not many benefits besides it being flexible. I also feel like if I go to school I'm going to miss out on my baby growing. Not to mention the debt I will accumulate for schooling. I just need to hear your stories, I know people do this all the time. So how did all of you juggle it?
