  1. hello! I graduated from Texas and got my ADN on May and didnt get my ATT until the 31st. As soon as I got it, I got the earliest test date which was 06/15. I am going to share with you what i did to prepare and my results. throughout nursing school we had to purchase ATI and we got a live review the last week which was exceptional. the instructor was clear and a lot of great tips were given. The best part was that we got a 30 day free live review from their website where it was recorded. I liked it because you could follow along all the subjects along with the lecture and more practice questions from their comprehensive printed book. ATI Comprehensive NCLEX-RN PROBABILITY OF PASSING RESULTS: 03/2017: 98% 05/2017: 97% I also used UWORLD! and let me tell you those questions are harder! however, it helps a lot with SATA questions because you get those a lot on the NCLEX. Also, I did notice some similarities. I used it for 2 months and my subscription ended right after I took the test. Another great thing were the 2 test assessments that give you a probability of passing. I took the first one right after graduating and the last one 2 days before taking the NCLEX. UWORLD PRACTICE ASSESSMENT RESULTS: SELF-ASS1: VERY HIGH (63%) SELF-ASS2: HIGH (56%) ***my rating went down in one month*** Q-BANK: 61% (83rd percentile) I had other nclex test software that I used throughout nursing school and books (saunders), but after graduating I only used ATI and UWORLD. TIPS: DO NOT CHANGE YOUR ANSWER! and read the questions carefully! I remember Thinking I was going through them so fast that I had to stop myself every once and a while. IT IS NORMAL TO FEEL DEFEATED AFTERWARDS! it does NOT mean you failed! Have confidence in yourself! We work so hard to get were we are, remember that. I started crying after I did the PVT 2 hours after finishing my test, so it still works. I got the unofficial results in exactly 48 hrs despite it being a Saturday. HAVE A LIGHT BREAKFAST! don't go in there starved! You need the energy. RELAX!!! I was shaking when I got there but as soon as I started to do the first question I was focused. ***THINK OF IT AS JUST ANOTHER TEST FROM SCHOOL*** BE CONFIDENT AND YOU WILL SUCCEED!
  2. a similiar thing happened to me. i did disclose my info but then another conviction came up but it was a traffic misdemeanor. i gave them all the info they required stated from the BON letter and they gave me a response within 2 wks. I had to have the approval to sit for the NCLEX before starting nursing school and if i didnt have that confirmation my school was not gonna let me start until i had that. i was fortunate to have it before classes started. my advise: after getting your fingerprints done MAKE SURE YOU GIVE THE BON ALL THE DOCUMENTS THEY WANT. Good luck!
