  1. EXACTLY! Mannn.
  2. I have my Hep B vaccines done so I'll have them do a titer as well.
  3. Yes sir, I'm familiar. I'm an LPN so alot of these immunizations I've gotten time and time again. What concerns me, is the time stamps. AND my shot records don't indiciate a positive or negative reading so it seems that I have to get them ALL done again and some form of indication of the results. I had no idea Walmart did those for free, so I really appreciate that info! Money is so tight right now and I don't know how I'll fund this thing, but one day at a time.
  4. Yeah I noticed and I'm already wondering how I can squeeze a lot of these in. I need almost every immunization and since my CPR certification is not through Pasco, I need to pay $56 for the class after the orientation. Lawd. I'm tired already lol ...anybody know a clinic who gives low priced shots for those of us with crap insurance?
  5. Orientation for transition students is July 13th. I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone
  6. If it helps you at all, I emailed my acceptance of my seat. I just told ryan and he said it's been noted. So if you can't go in person, shoot him an email.
  7. I got into the LPN-RN transition program! Hallelujah!
  8. Congratulations!!! My mail hasn't come yet but I'm happy for you! Fingers crossed that I do too.
  9. I really hope we know the answer by next week. I don't feel overwhelmingly excited since I'm already a nurse, but the main thing is, I have to coordinate my life to prepare for full time classes again. The earlier I know the easier. So I hope we don't find out mid-June.
  10. Anything is possible! But I wouldn't get too excited. Lol
  11. That's good. This is just speculation of course, but I think your chances are high if your composite is around 76 range, (if you're applying for LPN-RN transition). Last year the average range for transition students was around 72. I think the competition is slightly more steep for generic RN students. I'm just going based on numbers.
  12. Right. The acceptance letters will be mailed out the last week of May, according to the acknowledgement letter.
  13. I got my acknowledgment letter today. I turned in my entire application in person on Thursday, April 27th. So it's been a week..at the bottom of the letter, it says transition applicants letters will be sent out the last week of May.
  14. Yes, you bring the WHOLE application packet to admissions building only. And when you hand it in, they will literally flip through each page. Then they will make a copy of each one and hand it back to you, so that's your confirmation or "receipt". I'm applying to the Transition program so my choices for Fall are only West or North. I'm not sure if it's different for Generic but Transition can only apply to Porter in Spring ... I would just confirm that if I were you.
  15. Thanks! And I'm not really sure. It says Proficient and I got a 78. But I know with each pool, it differs. I'm still trying to figure out my GPA. The reason I want to be an RN is because I really want to work in labor and delivery and that's hard to do as an LPN. But like I said, for me it's a win/win, if I don't get in this cycle because that'll force me to save some more. I support myself 100% and it's so hard to do that and school lol
  16. I'm applying to the RN bridge as well and I took my TEAS today ... if I don't get in, I'm going to try again for January and keep working/saving in the meantime...
  17. Disregard this whole thread! I didn't realize one has already been started!!!! Thanks for reading!
  18. Hello all! I am taking my TEAS this Friday (April 28th), for the Pasco Hernando State LPN-to-RN transition program. So, I don't know what my "scores" are or what my perpetual chances are of acceptance. I just noticed there were no threads for Fall yet. Please feel free to engage on here. We can all help each other in such a great way! If my LPN program taught me anything, it's that support is an important factor in success! Thanks!
  19. Email saying you accept. Like the woman on the phone said.
  20. Is anyone aware of good LPN-RN bridge programs? When I finish my LPN this coming year, I want to bridge to RN. IRSC makes you do the two years all over again, where as some schools allow a fast track program to the ADN. So far, I'm only aware of Valencia. Palm Beach will only fast track LPN students who received the LPN from their school. Anyone heard of one?
  21. Yes, I've heard similar and it seems you have to jump through hoops anyways to prove your competency. You have to do some type of validation test. I guess too much knowledge is never an issue. I'll start in January.
  22. For the LPN students, I understand the current students informing us to start in January, even if we have the CNA course completed. But I have a job that I can use to my advantage for that month and a half. Because once I start, my hours have to be cut. I am slightly worried that I won't have a study group, when I come in February, but it seems worth it to me. I just completed six weeks of CNA!
  23. Yeah I guess I will too
  24. Hey guys. I just believe the signed handbooks. What money for the shirts? .... I was so frustrated with her delivery so it was hard to focus. That's why I spoke up. How can you be upset with us for not asking if we have each and every immunization? There are so damn many and we have to fish them out sometimes ....
  25. I GOT INN!!!!! i CAN'T BELIEVE IT! ONE STEP CLOSER PEOPLE.
