Sorry to bother you again, but was the test similar to the book? Same concept? I'm just so nervous verbal is super tough for me lol such big words. Were some of the same words on here?

Yes! They are letting us use calculators this time! And the questions have been cut down to 60 verbal 40 math and 60 science 40 minutes for each! Please let me know how your test goes! I take mine the 18th! Also if it helps I found an NLN app and it's been helping me ALOT it shows your the right answers and gives an explanation for each! It's called "NLN Pax prep 2017 edition". Good luck on your test!

So im trying to get into nursing school and I have to take the NLN test. They have just recently re did the test it use to be 3 hours and more questions and they have basically cut it in half and you only get 40 mins for each section. There are no new books out for it and I only have the old one. I feel like I am going in blind, I have been studying like crazy but I feel like it will have completely new material. Has any taken the new 2017 NLN test?? if so how was it? Or does anyone have any tips?? I dont want to bomb this test!!!

I just finished all of my core classes in college and have been selected for an interview for the surgical tech program. They only accept 12 students per semester. I am suppose to write an essay saying why I want to become a surgical tech. I have all of the basic reasons why but I need something unique and different I want to wow them! I freeze when I am put on the spot and I am super nervous. If anyone could tell me how their interview went or what kind of questions they asked it would be greatly appreciated. Also I would love to know why you became a surgical tech or in the medical field. Thanks so much! (This is not a job interview it is to get into the program.)
