    Psychguy-Sorry if I wasn't clear. Yes, you are right on your assumption. DNP school is another 3 years! He is already 41 and we are on our 5th child. So that isn't going to happen. But I will keep researching other MSN programs. THank you!

    Hello all! I need some help really BAD! My husband has almost finished the FNP nursing program but took a break and didn't submit his thesis. Now the school has changed requirements where you need a doctorate for the NP. Does ANYONE know anywhere we can go so he can finish his degree? Anyone who would accept his thesis and give him a degree? Any advice would be great. Thank you!

    I think having the nursing experience is very important. Who knows, you may find out you don't want to advance your degree.
