nursing school is hard
After this post I was able to pull it together. I just studied constantly and read every little thing I could. I also re-listened to our class lectures over and over again. I am so happy to say that on my 3rd test I got a 96, on the fourth a 90, and the final test for my AS RN program is tomorrow. I need a 40% on it to pass the class. Hard work does pay off. Happy Tears!

Well I've got good news. They threw out a couple of questions amd I got a 72. It's still failing but atleast my test average is an 81 now which is passing. Just gotta get through 30 more days and 3 more tests!

nursing school is hard
Right now this is my only class. Its the last one though and it is exceptionally hard. I have gotten A's but mostly B's in all of my classes throughout the whole program. Normally I take about 4 classes at a time but I got ahead in the BSN part when I got a 77.4 and had to repeat that one class. So now I only have this one class and its 6 credits. I'm so scared. Trying to think positive, but it is so overwhelming.

Is it common in all nursing programs for a class average to be a 75 when passing is a 78?

nursing school is hard
I'm not sure what to think. I'm about 39 days and 3 tests from graduating my RN/BSN program. I got a 90 on my first test and a 68 on the second one. My test average is now a 79, and a 78 or higher is required to pass. The thing that really scares me is that I have to keep my average above a 78 for the next three tests, but I feel like this is out of my control. For my last test I read every chapter did every assignment and studied for literally weeks and my grade was still failing miserably. I feel that there is nothing else I can do. I heard that the class average on this test was a 75. I don't feel like they care if we pass or fail. I can't even be happy about being almost done because If I fail this class I'll be kicked out of the program in the final hour with 30,000 of student loan debt. I had to repeat peds lasts year and that was the only repeat they allow. Just one. And they don't bend rules. I'm just freaked out. Any advice?
