Okay, so you are saying that I should wait until after I take and pass my NCLEX before applying anywhere?

Well, now I am only 5 months away. When should I start applying for those residencies? I don't want to get too anxious and start applying too early lol

I am finishing up nursing school, which cost me a whopping $160,000, and from going to my clinical sites, I see that a lot of our graduates where taken in along with many of my recent new grad friends who had jobs within a couple months! Everyone's opinion is different, but I'm getting my BSN-RN in 2.5 years (an accelerated program as well) and have a pretty high chance of getting a job soon after graduation. I have heard similar to what you have heard about pharmacists having a very hard time finding a job. It would be horrible to go to school for 5 years and struggle to find work after all those hard years of study. In my opinion, its not worth it. I would go for nursing school, you have a VERY high probability of finding a job soon after.

Hi everyone! I graduate January 16th, 2016....technically 7 months from now. When is the best time to start looking for and applying for jobs. I live out in southern California, and I know that in some of the hospitals that I have done my clinical rotations at, the hospital does not require you to have your license to begin working. Any advice?
