  1. I have a friend that just finished her 1st semester there and has most of her Generals completed. She said it isn't that bad. She works 40 hour/week and is in the evening/weekend option. I plan on doing evening/weekend and still working 40 hours/week. The only thing I would change is the 2nd semester I heard clinicals are extremely time consuming and I will most likely drop my second (on call) job at that time. I'm kinda in the same situation as you; I'm a single mother with one kid. Just keep reminding yourself this is temporary and it will only get better.
  2. Im in! NHCC this Spring my composite score was 11.27
  3. Letters were mailed out yesterday for NHCC and we are suppose to get them today according to Admissions...... we shall see! My mail doesn't come till later today anyways. And when I asked how many applications did they have this time her response was "You don't want to know!"
  4. So...... this wait sucks! So I emailed the Advisor to see if they even mailed out the letters and waiting for a response. Is it just me or is the nursing advisor ALWAYS busy and booked?!!??? I noticed the email I got last month states the letters will be mailed after 7/15......
  5. OMG!!!!!! This is crazy! and I bet they will mail it out tomorrow evening, so we won't get it until Thursday. So please when you guys get your letters update us! I'm all the way in Woodbury so I most likely won't get mine until Thursday
  6. I have an 11.27 Composite Score, which I was originally told was borderline and that anything 11.5+ was pretty much automatic admission. Then another adviser told me that anything 11.0+ was good and most likely straight admission to the program. She also stated that 11.0 was the cut off score and where they started the wait list at. But I've seen many people post stating they were accepted on wait list with scores 10.5+
  7. GOOD LUCK!!!! KyraMaeLynn!!!! I hope we get in! I've been stalking my mailbox, wishful thinking I know but the wait is killing me!
  8. I'm going crazy over here!!!!! This wait is just torture! Who all applied to NHCC???? I thought it was interesting how this time they didn't have you chose either day or evening program..... and the last I heard they may be taking more students this time around..... super curious right now!
  9. I agree it's just torture!
  10. I ranked in the 83rd percentile as well. Yeah That email came in early this week.
  11. This wait is pure torture! I got my email this week saying NHCC has my application and its under consideration. I've seen people get accepted to NHCC with as low as a 11 for Spring 2015. So I hope I'm in! Just curious what was everyone's program percentile rank for their TEAS? I wonder if the scores were lower this time around? My transcript says the program average for the TEAS is 64.9%. Also I know a couple people who started Spring 2015 NHCC and heard they are planning on changing the program based on feedback did anyone go to the information session for NHCC?
