Georgia Highlands ASN Fall 2015
I don't think so. It's only a department requirement not a nursing program requirement. Although I would recommend taking it....even though it's hard, especially if you're planning to get your BSN. Chem I and II are required for BSN's.

Georgia Highlands ASN Fall 2015
The science department at GPC requires Chem I for Biology I A&P (then you take BIO II and Microbiology). GPC has a good program with very high NCLEX pass rates. I'm looking forward to starting next month. BTW, they don't require the second PSYC class that GHC requires. Karen

Georgia Highlands ASN Fall 2015
Well, I got my notice yesterday. Thank goodness I had already accepted the Georgia Perimeter program because I was denied. My problem with the GHC program was that I was missing the Psych class. Most programs only require it for the BSN, so I had not taken it yet. I also was missing my credit for POLS that I'm taking now during the summer. Both of those are not calculated in at GPC for admission. Good luck everyone. FYI accepted score range was 1144 to 1440.13. Karen

Georgia Highlands Fall 2015 Acceptance
I have not received a letter yet. I have already accepted placement in the Georgia Perimeter College (GSU) but I'd still love to know that I could have chosen GHC as well. Good luck to everyone. I'm sure the letters will be delivered shortly. Karen
