Update I just got the official call offering me the job! So I fussed for a week for nothing! I start tomorrow for 4 hours thanks so much everyone for all of your posts I have benefited greatly from them

Yes that is normal in pa though. I have had it done many times for jobs. I've done my cogent fingerprints pa state police record check and pa child abuse clearance

I appreciate your response! I have been a nervous wreck waiting for the warden to finish my background check as this has always been my ultimate goal! I have completed my fbi fingerprinting child abuse and state police checks so wondering what else there is to check that is why I was concerned that they would be checking past visitation records. So I have a offer of employment at my local county correctional facility pending the background check done by the deputy warden. About 4 years ago I had visited an inmate with a friend of mine went for moral support. The only thing my paperwork asked was if I knew of anyone currently incarcerated which I was honest and said no they never asked if I had ever visited anyone.if they had I would've been honest as well. I spoke with the don today to let her know I had sent for the other 3 backround checks they require and asked what the wardens check would include she said to make sure I do not associate with the wrong crowd and that I have no criminal record. Now I am worried this is what I have wanted all along and I would hate for a few visits years ago to ruin this opportunity. Any advice? I'm in pa
