Hey guys, thanks in advance. OK so i was baker acted for attempted suicide while drunk two years ago (2013) in another state and I'm graduating from college in 2017 here in FL. I want to know how much of an obstacle this will be when seeking licensure. I have contemplated not acknowledging this matter up front on the application since I wasn't diagnosed with anything nor was I released with any prescription nor conditions. Simply, I was young and stupid and don't believe this one time event should define me for life. Things that I'd like clarified include 1) is there any specific question in the application in regards to the Baker Act ? 2) should I mention it openly or not ? 3) does the Board of Nursing go through the medical history for each and EVERY applicant ?
