  1. I want my BSN, but I have a low GPA

    Hi I'm currently going on my Junior year at the University of Iowa and this past March I applied to the nursing program here. I have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and no back up plan if I get rejected. I have already retaken 2 classes and can only retake one more. My only edge for acceptance is an upward trend in my grades: fall 2013 I got a 3.33 and spring 2014 I got a 3.52 and that I work as a nursing assistant at the hospital. My time and money is of the essence. I know I should look into other programs, but they all have different prereqs and I would fall more behind taking them still with no guarantee of being accepted to the program. I'd like to get my BSN from a similar caliber school as Iowa. I would really appreciate some advice. I wish I could start college over... Thanks
