Did anyone get their Nursing badge yet?

Just so I'm clear, we all have to be at FSW from 0800-1430 tomorrow, right? Or is that just for those of us with Clinical on Monday? (FT Days Lee) And I think we have several weeks to fill out these forms because we won't be starting clinical rotation for at least 3 weeks I think.

Where can I find the Fundies syllabus? I don't see it anywhere on Canvas?

Did anyone else get their Flu vaccination documentation rejected on the CP website?

Nevermind. I guess I do have all of the records except a record of my physical. They do give you the links for the forms needed as well. So, I just have to get a record of my physical and I will have everything uploaded. I have all of my books, tuition paid, got my scrubs/uniform, and got my stethoscope/scissor/pen light. So looks like I am all set. Now, I get to enjoy all of next week in Mexico before it all starts! What a sigh of relief. The amount of things needed by this program is mind boggling.

Agreed. I have paid everything out of pocket and received no financial aid due to a previous degree. And I think it's insane to charge $35 for an uploading program. Any way they can make money. Ridiculous. Anyway- do we have to upload and fulfill every 'requirement' on the Compliance Tracker? I don't think I have a record for every single thing listed on there.

Am I the only one who thought the online orientation was, uhm.. terrible? I didn't find it very informative at all. Also, there were just a bunch of links that have been already available to us.

So it appears that we will be in the classroom for the first several weeks and then we will be doing clinical at a Nursing Home for a few weeks after that, before we get to do clinical at the hospital.

I wish they would give us the syllabi for the other classes as well.

It looks like the syllabus for Health Assessment (FT program Lee) is 19 pages long.

What e-mail are you referring to? I can't seem to find it? Maybe you can give me the date the e-mail you're referring to was sent? Sorry.. lol. I'm a bit confused.

I have a question. I'm in the Lee FT program and it appears as though I am enrolled in 'NUC 1000 - NURSING COLLOQUIUM (CHARLOTTE). Does everyone get enrolled in this, regardless of what campus you're enrolled in? And when I click the link, it says: "Every student must complete ALL THREE hospital Orientation packets prior to beginning clinical each year." but I see five links? And they're all 'Bayfront PC'?

Classes that I have taken say 'not met'. I guess I'll have to go talk to an advisor once I get back from vacation.

Okay, I think I got it. How do I know which classes were accepted and which ones I've completed? I am confused.. lol.

Where do I go to check what classes were accepted/needed on the transcript? I graduated with my B.S. in Human Biology 6 years ago, so I hope they accepted all of the transfer credits and I don't have to take any classes other than the core nursing ones.

I'm working full-time at CCH and am in the FT program. I am going to continue working FT and then make a decision once I see how things go. I already informed my Director that there is a possibility that I will go part time. That's looking better and better to me each day lol.

I meant to say Health Assessment lab (NUR1060L). The e-mail that we received that lists the classes we need to take and their CRN's, the CRN's listed for this class are incorrect.

Just to be sure, the only option for Health Assessment (for Lee- FT Days) is on Thursday, correct?

The clinical is a class that we have to register for. They actually even said we have to pick it and sign up and register, so I did just that. I really hope we have discretion to choose because any other hospital/time would be a MAJOR inconvenience for me. But, I am just glad I am on top of it like you guys are because waiting around for FSW is a game I don't want to deal with.

I don't feel guilty lol. FSW is terribly slow and behind the ball when it comes to anything. We were told we would be notified when status changes went out and we weren't. We gotta do what we gotta do. Worst case scenario, we are told to drop the classes until told to do so. If that doesn't happen, well then I'm happen I'm one of the ones (including you guys) that are on top of things and made sure I got the classes, times and clinical that worked best. So, don't feel bad. We're doing what we gotta do..
