I took my test that next friday May 04 and was positive I failed, I didn't feel like anything I had studied had prepared me whatsoever (spell?) I got my results today after 3 long weeks and I passed!!! I think the support on this website is very encouraging, and I got a lot of hope from reading and posting in forums. After 3 long weeks of waiting in California for my results, I got them today and I passed! I want to thank everyone on this site for keeping my hopes up and for encouraging everyone out there. There is so much support on here and I think its great! Nurses and future nurses sticking together. Everytime I felt down, I got on here and felt so much better after reading posts, and seeing how much everyone supports people. My experience with the NCLEX was terrifying, I arrived shaking life a leaf, and left balling my eyes out. Take it from me, everyone feels like they have failed when they leave the test center (well the majority). Try to keep positive, for me it was almost impossible, I was sure I did not pass. I guessed on the majority of the questions, got NO multiple multiples, so I figured I didn't get those level 5 questions. Well If I could do it...SO CAN YOU! Do not get discouraged if you have to guess on a lot. I did and it worked out just fine! Keep your head up and if your in Cali like me, don't stress those 3 weeks you have to wait, I think I gave myself an ulcer....for nothing. Anyways everyone take care, study up but try and relax when you go into pearson vue. They can't eat you so don't worry too much.

I took 3 months to study my buns off. I unfortunately stuck mainly to saunders, which primarily teaches content area (some incorrect content too). Anyways, I just took my nclex last week and I have to wait 3-4 weeks to get my results (LVN-Cali). I have a really bad feeling that I will have to repeat the test. The Q's on nclex are NOTHING like Saunders, Lipincott, or anything else I looked at. It was mostely priority, but really hard priority. I say, touch on content area but really focus on priority and critical thinking. I wish you the best of luck, feel confident and gear down. Much love!

I feel the same way, what the heck was that??? I took mine 2 days ago, and unfortunately I have to wait 3 weeks to get my results. I have prepared for the worst because I spent almost the entire time guessing. I felt sick when I left the test center and balled my eyes out all the way home. It gives me a bit of hope heaering your story, and you passed. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a miracle.

I just took the nclex-pn today and I just got done sobbing. I studied my buns off and I don't feel like anything could have prepared me for that experience. It cut me off at 85, and I didn't feel confident at all when I left. I hear that is a normal feeling, but I need some reassurance, lol. Has anyone out there felt that way and passed? I need a miracle out there. Any words of hope would help, and any advice to get through these next 3 weeks of waiting would be great. Thank you all in advance, and God Bless.

We had a professional nclex review instructor come to our school and she was part of the board that wrote questions for both RN and PN tests. She told us that the PN test was harder than the RN. The differences were delegating and IV q's. Don't know how true it is, but thats what we were told. So if that is the case, keep trying for the RN.

I don't want to get your hopes up, but it sounds like you passed. If it stopped after you answered a question your sure you got correct, I think thats a good sign. If it was the wrong answer you probably would have went on to another question. I will pray for you. I take mine next friday, please pray for me too.
