  1. For those of you who are not aware, I took Chemistry 101 with Lab and Anatomy and Physiology 1 with a Lab together over an accelerated Summer 1 (6 week) semester .. I pulled a B in Chemistry and a C in A&P. I will NEVER do two labs in a semester again, I was in hell for 6 weeks. On a lighter note, my baby girl is strong and healthy, due August 15th! My concern, is my C in Anatomy 1.. Although I am continuing onward to A&P 2 for the upcoming accelerated Summer 2 semester (already paid).. do you think I should retake A&P1 to increase my chances into nursing school? The baby is due 2 days after the last day of finals in the Summer 2 semester, I'd hate to retake AP1 just for a "better" grade with a newborn... Let me know what you think.
  2. I print out ALL the slides for each chapter and organize them in a nice binder. As the prof teaches I keep a pen and high lighter handy and scribble away! This method helps me to NOT get lost in the lectures and gives me the opportunity to glance the material before heading to class.
  3. I am nearly 3 weeks in, correction, this is a 6 wk course. I certainly have a ways to go. I guess what's making it harder (physically) for me right now is that I'm 7 months pregnant lol. I'm tired all the time, am certainly not strong academically in math (doesn't help with chem) and havent taken a biology course for over 8 years! My A&P prof is a joke, tells the class to 'not ask questions" if we're lost during our classroom lectures because it will slow down the learning process of the more advanced students. Mind you, I have lectures for 3 hrs a pop, 3X days/ week; I want to pull my hair out!
  4. OMG can I do this? I am so utterly stressed, I do nothing but eat, sleep, with the occasional potty break and study. Has anyone else done this?
