  1. Idk maybe it's just me but the nursing process and lab classes lack of structure. I mean I get that it's college, bit literally you have to guess on what it is you need to cover. I hope this isn't the way it stays throughout. I'm hoping its just weeding strategy -😕
  2. Thank you. Thanks for starting this forum @crystal. Ram
  3. 😢😢😢 I can't believe I got in. For those of you reading this now or in the future just know that if I can do to it so can you. I've been through so much from domestic abuse to having a child to not having the money to pay for class, to immigration issues the list goes on. I got accepted. My GPA was 3.0 and HESI 82% cumulative score. And I passed anatomy with 75% exactly. Anyway just saying this to say that it is possible, and yes you can!! #winning
  4. 😣😣😣😢😢😢😢
  5. I know sta2023 is not required for the associates level nursing program, but has anyone taken it already? I need an outstanding professor. Doesn't matter which campus.
  6. By the looks of it looks like it's only four days a week which would be great for me and my work schedule. And also for those of us that pay out of pocket.
  7. What I don't understand is why they wouldn't at least confirm those that they have accepted. Ugh this is frustrating. Nevertheless thanks for keeping us informed. okay so I looked at the registration, I'm a little confused. I thought it was a full time program. Process one is twice a week for a few hours. Am I missing something?

  9. Do they accept the in services from ceufast?
  10. Did anyone get an email about a parking decal?
  11. What's your source
  12. Tps= temporary protective status. Thanks
  13. How does my case defer from others who successfully obtain a GC through sponsorship. I thought maybe I could get some idea...I know I eventually will need to seek counsel.
  14. Ok so I am currently enrolled in school. What is the process to have my legal status changed? I currently have tps which has been renewed almost annually since the earthquake in haiti. How difficult will it be? What is the process once I pass the NCLEX? I'd like to have a green card.
  15. They must wait till they get them all. The advisor said "it doesn't matter if you submitted your application first or last nursing will select those with the highest GPA and HESI scores." The wait is unbareable....
  16. I went to central campus yesterday to find out what the deal was. I spoke to health Science admissions some guy with glasses, they're so secretive! Anyway he said the nursing department requested that they keep accepting applications not only based on HESI complications but also because they needed more applicants. I wonder if less people are choosing broward college and going to private schools instead.
  17. That means two and a half weeks until we know for sure.
  18. I completely agree, people should be allowed to receive extensions based on technical problems. I had no idea that was going on, I apologize if I came off upset towards you. That definitely wasn't my intention. On the other hand that means that they have yet to select or there are still a lot of seats available.
  19. Wow, I don't understand. At first it was "no later than the second week"....this is torture.
  20. Hi everyone! I too have applied for the nursing program at broward college starting in August. My application still says in review. Has anyone been accepted as of yet. My hesi scores and my GPA aren't top of the line but enough to qualify. I'm currently doing the prerequisites for the bsn just in case I don't get in this term. I hope they don't change the prerequisites for the bsn!
