  1. I am a recently graduated and licensed LPN. My issue at this moment is that i am not able to find a job because of my background. The last facility i applied to hired me but rescinded their offer after my background came in. My charges were Felony Battery and Driving on a suspended license. I was wrongly accused of putting my hands on a man a couple years ago which ended with the charges being dropped because of video evidence proving i did not. The driving on a suspended license was for a lack of insurance and I plead guilty to at my lawyers suggestion which ended with the judge adjudicating me guilty. After i served my 23 days in jail I was released for time served; a couple weeks after my imprisonment the head of traffic in my state (Tallahassee, Florida) sent me a letter stating that I was in compliance with the law at the time and my license should not have been suspended thus my jailing was an "inconvenience" that they were sorry for. I have called several lawyers and i am not able to expunge my Felony Battery arrest because of the adjudication of guilty on my driving offense. This is making my job hunt impossible. Any tips? I am looking for any facilities that does not do a level 2 background check or a state where I would be able to practice my field. If not, i am forced to consider the time, money and effort i spent on schooling a waste and my dreams of getting my masters and doctorates over.
