  1. Hello everyone :) I haven't seen a previous post about the Spring 2017 ASBN program at Union University so I figured I'd get a jump on it! Please share comments, questions, advice etc. I have already applied to the Hendersonville campus and hope to heard something back in the next few weeks or so! It is a bit early but good luck to anyone else that has applied also !
  2. I failed the math portion of the HESI last week í ½í¸¢ It was so hard! Well, maybe it was just hard for me because I suck at math & took it a week after my interview. Re taking it next week though!
  3. My interview was initially at the end of the month but I requested if I could do it ASAP because I still have pre reqs to focus on that start at the end of the month! I was the first interview for the October cohort . I think he is scheduling them based on who gets back to him first with their dates & times that they are available. Good luck everyone !
  4. This Thursday, the 12th . I take my enterance exam on May 18th !
  5. I received my "congratulations" email & my interview is Thursday !
  6. I am applying for the Oct start date at DSN. I recently bought a home here & let me tell you , it is not cheap to live here ! Hopefully once the program starts, I can help some people & take in room mates ! Good luck hunting !
  7. mscarmen74, I plan on applying also & I've been hearing mixed reviews! I actually chatted with my QMAP instructor(RN of 45 years) today & she had nothing good to say about the DSN graduates that she has worked with !
  8. Great, thank you for the advice ! It will be a while before I put in for it but at least I have an idea of what's to come !
  9. I'm Security Forces too ! Our situations are so similar !
  10. Thank you . I have also been doing CNA work since 09 & I'm glad I know that I have to be In for 4 years & 1 day to get the E identifier ! I was planning on getting out a few months early so I can devote more time to my pre reqs. I'm definitely going to go for it !
  11. Thanks for the advice ! Keep us updated on the results
  12. That's cool, I haven't thought about the reserves but that's a good idea too! I'm definitely not assuming that if I apply, I will automatically get accepted. From what I've heard, it's very competitive. But I also haven't heard it directly from someone that has went through the process
  13. Soooo a little background on me... I am active duty Air Force E4 & will be separating soon . I will have 4 years of service once i separate. I'm going to apply for a BSN program & will complete the program in 2018.( I am not doing NCEP for multiple reasons) Upon completion, I am considering direct commissioning . How competitive is it to get in with prior service ???
