The email was from CMC and it just had the letter attached. At first I thought they sent me a blank email!

There were two days of interviews and four groups total. I opted for the last group because that's what worked with my work schedule.

They also email you a copy of the letter. I'm in Florida and I got the email two days before my letter. But I didn't get the email until 10 days after my interview. Just a heads up! Good luck everyone!!!

I work in a Trauma/Neuro/Surgical ICU. At the time of my interview I had 15 months of experience but I will have a full 2 years before starting. However almost everyone in my group of interviews came from CVICU.

The overall interview process wasn't bad. The most intense part was, of course, the faculty interview. But it only lasts 20-30 minutes. The clinical questions come from your specialty. The students had very good things to say about the program and were very candid so I feel really good about the program. For stats I would say mine are pretty average. I have a 3.75 overall gpa. A combined 302 gre score. Nothing spectacular. But I think I made up for it with all my extra science courses, certifications, and shadow experience.

Anurse1, when we originally interviewed in October they said that they were taking 12 people from the first round of interviews and 12 people from the second round of interviews. I don't know what happens with the spot when a person decides not to go (which I do know one person who has done this). So maybe there will be more spots available in the second round? I honestly don't know. But you should at least have the same chance as the first round of applicants! Good Luck!!

It's a mixture of clinical and get to know you questions. There is a faculty and student interview. They also give a presentation and allow for a Q&A with current students. The whole process was 4 hours.
