  1. Congratulations to all those accepted...Those who are still waiting should not give up..Last year, some of my friends received their admissions in July and later on. For dosage calculations, you will be sent a document as part of the orientation package..Study it very well especially the conversions. You can also go online to practice questions by typing "nursing dosage calculations." Enjoy your vacations..
  2. @hgoldwater Just as StarvingRtist said, u should choose the both options (accelerated and generic) on the application form to be safe..All my friends in de accelerated program had 4.0 GPA..For 3.8, you can get into the generic program...But u can also apply to other schools if you still want the accelerated program...Gud luck on your applications..
  3. @mernurse2b Wow..thats wonderful..Congrats..Well for the drug cal test, I have been practicing with online practice quiz and questions..I just hope the exam will be simple for us to pass..See u at orientation..
  4. @StarvingRtist..I have completed mine. The results didn't take long..The results for the urine and blood tests came after 3 days..
  5. @AmmaO...I just received an email about the updated health clearance form and other attachments from the nursing department...I guess you received your email too by now...I am glad it came today since you can reschedule another appointment now without any problems..I am yet to schedule an appointment with my doctor...
  6. @Jodie623, You are not the only one..I'm also the "more than one" person so I will prefer to buy 2..but one b4 aug and one later..
  7. @ABC15...I received my email at 12:22am today..I dont know if she sent all emails to those accepted but some people I know also received theirs..If you confirmed your seat, dont worry, you will get your email.. @issyl11..I learnt we register our classes at orientation too..
  8. @Musicmurse7..Thanks for the information..I was confused when I saw the dates..

  10. @NNurse 2017..welcome to the forum..Well I sent my paper in person on thursday..I have not recieved any package either...Some students here recieved confirmation email, i read from previous pages..But you can contact them if you want to be certain..
  11. I don't think we will get any physical letters at this rate....I tink they see emails make things smooth for them this year..Even our package will be in emails.. @nursing2017...Oh really...No one told me that...Anyway,i will be waiting..thanks for the information...
  12. @mernurse2b...There is an attachment together with the email..One page is the letter and the other page is your response sheet to fill...That's all.. Good luck anyway....
  13. @StarvingRtist...That excuse is hard to understand...You are right that someone here with 3.8 had accelerated...I think they did not want to admit their mistakes..Anyway, tank God you had generic instead..Yeah, its true that this year's generic is 70 seats...I stopped by the department today... Good luck to those still waiting...
  14. @ahreeol..Tanks..you ve been a big help to us..I will contact you when I need any information..Tanks for your time... @Glowinthdark...i will send my response in person to the nursing department tomorrow..I have issues with emails..You shuld call and check to be satisfied..
  15. @jennifer1015 &Giselle4...just wait patiently, you guys are not the only one waiting...I called this morning and she said emails will be sent this week..Just have faith.. For those accepted, remember to send your response sheets within the next 5-7 days...Its part of the email as an attachment....I just saw mine..
  16. @Musicmurse7...Yes,with God, all things are possible..I am so glad most of us here are accepted...I can sleep soundly now...
  17. Hi guys, after posting my previous comment, I checked my email...I was accepted to the generic program...I'm so relieved...I hope everyone received theirs...Good luck to those still waiting...
  18. Congrats to those accepted...still waiting for mine.. @StarvingRtist...i cant find the page...can you post the link here...
  19. @jennifer1015...That's what I heard from my friends and some students..I hope it's more than that too..Don't worry, just have faith n wait patiently..Besides your GPA and hesi are good...Dont be nervous..
  20. @ StarvingRtist...No, I have not received any email either...
  21. @Musicmurse7...It is true that they sent and "will send" emails of rejection to some applicants this week. I stopped by the department today to declare my major (necessary to register for LEH classes). The women said they have sent some rejection emails to some students (the emails you used for the application so check everyone). If you haven't received any email, thank God since you have a "chance" to get into the program.. However, they told me there was a lot of applications this year...Everyone will receive a letter whether accepted or rejected. As I know (i might be wrong), the seats are few (60 for generic, i heard from students)...Anyway, lets keep praying that everyone here gets in no matter the number of people who applied..
  22. Hi guys, I'm in the nursing department right now..It's really annoying here with long queues, waiting, about 2 advisors..Anyway, our letters will be mailed this week..The woman in the front desk is packaging letters in many envelopes with the lehman logo..She said we will get them this week or next week ..Good luck everyone...
  23. [email protected] are a strong person who succeeded despite the problems that came your way. And for your grades, you will definitely get in. I just hope there wont be a tight competition in the nursing applications. @Musicmurse7...Don't worry and pray. With God, all things and wishes are possible. Just trust in him.. I learnt last year's cut off was 3.5. I took a HESI class this semester and two nursing students came to speak to us. One entered with a 3.8 and the other had 3.5 and 85 for hesi last year (it was her second year applying again). Don't worry, your HESI and GPA is good.. @jennifer1015..Your grades are also good with your HESI. I didnt apply to any school because my recommendations letters were late. Just have faith guys. I know we will all get in..
  24. Hi everyone, I just registered for this blog yesterday...I have been reading the lehman nursing blog since 2013. I was nervous when I started my science requirements for nursing because people told me lehman nursing was hard and competitive at my freshman orientation. But by God's grace, I successfully completed them. I also applied for the fall generic program 2015. My GPA: 4.0 HESI: 92 I read in previous blogs that the letters are sent mostly in the 3rd week of June. Good luck everyone and thanks for your information and replies in this blog.
