  1. Thank you for the response. That makes sense, I could be wasting money on classes that I might have to retake.
  2. I have been seeing a few post about people saying that you had to have approval from excelsior to take a clep/dsst exam and get credit for it. I know basically what classes I need I have never taken sociology, psychology, micro, life span etc. I had planned on testing out of them via clep or Uexcel. I don't want to apply to the school until I have these to save money. But it sounds like excelsior might not accept these if I do these prior to enrolling. That seems weird to me. What if I have already taken them, does that mean they might not except them?
  3. In the facility where I work, we are responsible for the nurses we are orientating. A new nurse who was orientating had made a med error and the nurse that was orientating her got written up also. This nurse that was orientating you should be responsible.
  4. I am going to do the ISU lpn-BSN program. My biggest concern is finding clinical sites. I have been working in LTC for about 15 years and don't have any connections to any of the local hospitals. Has anyone done this program that lives in Michigan?
