  1. You can purchase everything but uniform tops anywhere else but the website because you need the patches
  2. No. I got one and never wore it. If you get cold you can wear a white under shirt with long sleeves
  3. Lol you have you have to wear black, white, or nude. The patches cone with the shirt but you have to Velcro them on. Its a spot on the sleeves
  4. Lol we said the same. Its all white
  5. Nope just white
  6. That is up to you how many you want to buy. A lot of my class mates bought two tops and then the pants somewhere else. They can get pretty pricey on that site. I know some people that just bought one uniform and just washed it after wearing.
  7. Lol we all had the same issue.
  8. You have a very good point. I just didn't want anxiety and stress to take over before classes started. Wish you all the best of luck. Email the instructors. They would know what books are being used
  9. The ISBN number will not work anywhere online because it is a custom made package just for Lawson. Don't stress yourselves over the books yet. The first day of class someone will have the new book that you can get the ISBN number from. The ISBN number for Lawson bookstore includes the CDs. You may not need the CDs. Our first semester came with CDs and I never even used them. I just YouTube it or Google. I will stop being a momma bear lol. Just a vet's two cents. Relax as of now. Once class starts stress goes up. Dont add on to it early in the game. You all got this. Breathe. I know you ladies will be fine
  10. Also there is a Los on the bookstore website
  11. I know you all are anxious about getting books. The best advise I can give is to wait until first day of class. They haven posted syllabus yet so there isn't any missed reading. Howvwr if you absolutely must get them before first day the bookstore is open to go in and browse. Also they will give you a printout of what you need if you ask. Getting anyone on the phone right now might be difficult.
  12. They for sure have banker hours. I would go anytime between. 8-5 mon-thursday
  13. Also to answer your questions about books. I would not buy them from the bookstore. I bought mine there because i got WIOA so I didnt take a loss there. If you are paying out of pocket or through FA get somewhere else besides the bookstore. That is why its best to wait until the first day of class in case there is a new edition. You can get the edition below it for a much cheaper price off the internet
  14. It may be because of the hours/credit you are taking. Nursing first semester I think is only 8hrs. When they initially calculate its for the 12hr full time amount. It is adjusted after you register for classes. So you would only get half-time FA
  15. There are papers that need to be filled out. You will need to make a visit to the financial aid office T some point. Preferabky before school starts because it gets crazy busy the first week of school
  16. Unless they have changed the rules, you dont get to pick clinical day. They pick it for you. We had clinicals on Tuesday and Wednesday. First semester usually has clinicals end of september or beginning of November.
  17. The first set of books can be found on the bookstore. Its about 470
  18. Usually when you register there is a link for books for that class. The instructors usually put the syllbua up before class, you could call and ask the nursing department or email your advisors. Also you can look the books up by class on the school's book store website.
  19. Sometimes its listed in the screen for registration. I would wait until first day Because they change pretty often
  20. Call the business office. They might can let you know
  21. Unlikely it will be the dosage calculation. You haven't been taught that stuff yet. Its probably just a conversions, fractions, decimals test
  22. Its med dosage and conversions. You cant miss any because its a 100% test. You get three tries. Dont know if they are still doing that this class term. Thats what they did with us. Dont panic it comes like mid semester. You also have HESI every semester and you have two chances to make at least 75%. Hesi effects your grade a but more every semester. Starting with 5% and ending with 25% of your total grade
  23. I dont know how they will do it this term, but we only had a calculation test in first semester that we had to pass. We had calculations on every test after that, but that was the only one that you couldnt miss any on.
  24. Lawson State does not do student loans. They do accept pell grants, scholarships, WIOA, and loans from other companies. Unfortunately Lawson doesnt issue loans through fafsa
  25. I wouldn't even call....Wednesday I would be in somebody office
