I read several threads on this website trying to find the "best" way to prep for the NCLEX-RN and because what I read helped me pass the NCLEX in 75 questions on the first try, I thought I would contribute to the discussions. After reading so many people discussing the Kaplan QBANK and passing in 75 questions after using it, I figured it most be a good way to go and I'm here to say it definitely was! At first I was discouraged because I was getting anywhere from low 60s to (rarely) 80% on the quizzes, but I saw in the discussions that those are actually good scores and good indicators of passing the NCLEX. For three weeks before taking the NCLEX I read 2-5 chapters in the SAUNDER's review and did around 100 questions in the QBANK per day. I definitely recommend using Kaplan QBANK to develop a testing strategy and get you prepared for what the NCLEX will be like. Good luck to all future RNs!
